- Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Page 3 of 3 Page 1 of Presolicitation Notice *=Required Field Presolicitation Notice Page 1 of 3 Construction Service for Project No. 612A 23-011, Correct Parking Wall and Replace Grass at Sacramento VA Medical Center, Mather, CA This is a pre-solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available on or about February 3, 2023. The solicitation will contain all necessary proposal instructions. Proposals will only be requested and accepted from Vendors that are verified and registered in SAM.gov and verified VIP as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) from the Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21), see following paragraph about SAM.gov and VetBiz portal verification. *Potential Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for an award (See https://www.sam.gov/SAM/pages/public/index.jsf ). Potential Offerors must also have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses shall have their ownership and control verified by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and be listed in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) at https://vetbiz.va.gov/vip/ per VAAR 819.7003. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard is $39.5M. In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of this construction project is anticipated between $250,000 and $500,000. Questions regarding this pre-solicitation must be sent in writing to Mr. Rosario Chaidez, Contract Specialist, at email: Rosario.chaidez1@va.gov Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) will be issuing a request for proposal for a general construction contractor to furnish all labor and materials needed to perform all demolition, replacement, installation, and commissioning required IAW the Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications located at the Sacramento VA Medical Center (SVAMC). The purpose of this project is to correct a retaining wall in a parking area, raise and level a catch basin and to install artificial grass around the area of the Sacramento VA Medical Center at 10535 Hospital Road, Mather, CA 95655. Work must include, but not limited to the following: The Contractor must be able to furnish all labor and materials needed to perform all demolition, replacement, installation, and commissioning required IAW the SOW to Correct a retaining wall in a parking area, raise and level a catch basin and install artificial grass around SVAMC. Vendors must demonstrate the ability to meet all requirements. The SOW, specifications, drawings, and attachments for all details will be published when the Solicitation has been posted. The Period of Performance (POP) for this project is estimated to be about 135 calendar days, or more from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
