- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: OPERATIONS, MAINTENANCE, AND ENGINEERING SUPPORT TO AIR FORCE SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND REMOTELY PILOTED AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS CENTERS AND GROUND CONTROL STATIONS NOTICE ID: SSN-H92408-UASROC AGENCY: US SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND TITLE: OPERATIONS, MAINTENANCE, AND ENGINEERING SUPPORT FOR THE REMOTELY PILOTED AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS NOTE: This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Special Operations Forces (SOF), Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L), Directorate of Procurement, is seeking information to identify potential sources for market research purposes only. USSOCOM is considering a contract for on-site and remote technical support for Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) operations. Support will be provided to enable and support RPA missions, including flight operations, post-flight recovery, warfighter training and educational support, and non-warfighting activities such as disaster response, humanitarian assistance, and engineering support efforts. This Sources Sought Notice is seeking to provide systems engineering, operations, and maintenance (O-level) for the RPA Operations Centers, Ground Control Stations (GCS) supporting networks, enclaves, weapon systems, Information Technologies (IT) infrastructure, information assurance and configuration management of operations center and IT infrastructure.� The scope encompasses two locations to provide continual (24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year [24/7/365]) weapon system network and long-haul communications support, GCS maintenance, GCS modifications, scheduling, and logistics support for the operations centers. Potential offerors are required to possess a SECRET Facility Clearance from Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency and some personnel will be required to have a SECRET clearance prior to a potential contract award. Responses shall be no longer than 5 pages in length. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this Notice. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the Government if received by the due date noted above for this notice. This notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by USSOCOM to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. USSOCOM is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement.� Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed. All information marked as proprietary information will be safeguarded to prevent disclosures to non-government personnel and entities.
