Description

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Chinle Service Unit, Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility, Chinle, AZ intends to award a non-competitive, sole source task/delivery order against Federal Supply Schedule contract # GS-10F-0414X to proposed contractor, Languages Unlimited, LLC.� Sole Source authority cited FAR Part 8.405-6 (a)(1)(i)(B) - Only one source is capable of providing the supplies and services required at the level or quality required because the supplies and services are unique or highly specialized. �The Proposed Contractor shall provide Telephone Interpreting Services on ""As Needed� Basis, Language Access Line with Toll-free number to include All Languages (including American Native Languages � specifically Navajo Language), and provide monthly report(s) for Fiscal Year 2023, Nursing Division at the Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility (CCHCF).� Period of Performance 04/01/2020-12/31/2020. � The Proposed Contractor is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required services to ensure there is no interruption in services that will negatively affect direct patient care. � This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.� Last day to provide affirmative written response is January 27, 2023, 5:00PM MDST, the contract will be issued without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.� Any solicitation resulting from the analysis of information obtained will be announced to the public in Federal Business Opportunities in accordance with the FAR Part 8.4. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
