Description

The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a Brand Name procurement action for the procurement of the following items: NSN 6650-00-424-7237 Alignment Telescope, Straight This requirement is conducted under FAR 13.106(b), soliciting from a single source. This is a notice of intent to award a brand name procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Straight Telescope is required IAW 1F-16C-2-94JG-60-1 (94-60-01). Firms who want to challenge this brand name action must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's technical expertise, certifications and authorization to compete for this acquisition. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to RFP number FA4877-23-Q-A111 by Thursday, 26 January 2023, 8:00AM MST to Contract Specialist Patricia Murray, via email patricia.murray.6@us.af.mil or phone at (520)228-2212 or Contracting Officer Rachelle Jenkins, via email rachelle.jenkins.3@us.af.mil. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information. At this time, alternatives are not being accepted as the Air Force expressly identifies this product as the only approved product. All responding vendors' contact information will be retained in the contract for potential future requirements
