- Description
- USAID intends to issue a solicitation for a Personal Services Contract (PSC) for the position (Senior SBC Advisor), (GS-14 Equivalent) for USAID�s Development, Democracy, and Innovation Bureau (DDI), Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG) Center. The Senior Social and Behavior Change (SBC) Advisor will be responsible for leading the DRG Center�s technical experts to integrate research on SBC into all areas of DRG programming. The incumbent will advise and support USAID�s DRG cadre and staff to assess programming and advise on approaches grounded in the SBC evidence base. The Senior SBC Advisor will guide the DRG Center on operational issues related to SBC and lead the synthesis, dissemination, and utilization of high-quality SBC evidence and other analytical products to improve the outcomes of USAID�s DRG interventions. The incumbent will produce evidence reviews, training materials, and guidance documents, as well as give presentations and provide tailored consultations, to facilitate the uptake of SBC evidence in the DRG sector. The incumbent will provide technical assistance to USAID staff and partners to help them interpret and act on research in DRG programming and facilitate iterative feedback to the DRG Center�s Evidence and Learning Team to help shape the DRG and Agency Learning Agendas and improve the overall effectiveness of SBC research products. The incumbent will coordinate with external actors and explore opportunities to disseminate relevant DRG Center products to wider audiences and contribute to learning in the DRG sector globally.
