The work is located at the United States Naval Academy. Building(s) will be occupied during performance of work under this Contract. The requirement was solicited as a sole source to Bristol Prime Contractors N4008023R0002 to renovate kitchen spaces in Dahlgren Hall, BLDG 103, located at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. This project requires the contractor to furnish all labor, management, supervision, materials, transportation, service and equipment necessary for, and incidental to, all designated work. All work must be in conformance with all applicable referenced criteria, construction standards, laws and regulations, including applicable building fire and life safety codes, service and equipment necessary for, and incidental to, all designated work. Market research was conducted and it was determined that Bristol Prime Contractors, LLC (Bristol), an 8(a), ANC small business represented the best option to perform this requirement. Bristol is capable of performing the required work based on a review of their capabilities statement and follow up discussions. Due to the estimated value, timeline and nature of this project, a sole source to an 8(a) small business represents the best to option to meet the needs of the government and NAVFACs Small Business Goals. Bristol has extensive construction experience, and has favorable past performance on high visibility projects on USNA.
