Description

The Indian Health Service (IHS), Chinle Service Unit, intends to negotiate a single-sourced, firm-fixed-price contract with Computrition Inc. (UEI FWBFGNEGVJ24). The NAICS code is 513210, with an associated small business size standard of $41.5 million. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchase not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). The requested software services is only available from Computrition Inc due to exclusive proprietary rights to the software. The period of performance is February 6, 2023 through February 5, 2024. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations or proposals, and a competitive solicitation will not be issued. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
