THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 400), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed contract, to EVOQUA Water Technologies LLC. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106-1 (b). A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The desired period of performance for this requirement is 01 March 2023 to 28 February 2028 for a five year IDIQ contract. This is a non-personal services contract to provide bottle swap, resin regeneration and filter change. Continued contracting with EVOQUA Water Technologies ensures TRFB shops are able to meet their need for Mil Spec Grade A and B water to support SSBN Refit and repair evolutions. Current existing installed de-ionizing systems tanks and filters being exchanged are a sub-system of the installed system and are manufactured by the contractor, EVOQUA Water Technologies. Using EVOQUA de-ionizing tanks and filters maintains the installed de-ionizing systems material integrity with exact form, fit, and function to ensure TRFB is able to continue providing SSBN Refit and repair shops with �Grade A and B� water required for their testing requirements. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. However, interested parties may identify their interest, a quote, and capabilities to respond to this requirement no later than February 6, 2022 9AM, Pacific Time. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with subject line stating - RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR N4523A23Q1302. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. PSNS and IMF Contracting Office (Code 400) will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. All documents submitted will not be returned.
