Description

The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central (RHCO-C), Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch (FHHCB), Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to 1st American Medical Distributors, Inc. 1151 Heritage Park Drive, Suite 201, Murfreesboro, TN 37129, under the authority 41 U.S.C. 1901, IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source is reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. The requirement is for the procurement purchase of a Hemosphere HEMSRCOM2 Cardiac output monitor (Advanced hemodynamic Cardiac output monitor system) for the ICU Patient Services and Nursing Department Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC), Fort Hood, Texas 76544. Award will be on or about February 6, 2023.� The purpose of this FY23 requirement is to purchase a Hemosphere HEMSRCOM2 Cardiac output monitor (Advanced hemodynamic Cardiac output monitor system) for the ICU Patient Services and Nursing Department at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, TX 76544. This supply requirement is commercial in nature and will be a firm-fixed price contract. FY23 funds are available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing, the tentative delivery date is April 5, 2023. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 personnel. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for a Centurion Vision System through 1st American Medical Distributors, Inc. The vendor provided an Edwards Lifesciences LLC (Manufacturer) letter indicating that the 1st American Medical Distributors, Inc. is the sole source provider of Hemosphere HEMSRCOM2 Cardiac output monitor to the Department of Defense, and no other third-party providers are authorized the manufacturer Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. A solicitation will not be published.
