Description: Discussions between industry and mission partners on upcoming follow-on requirement(s) for the AFSTS contract. ** This is an open discussion concerning the AFSTS Program and follow-on effort. We highly encourage questions, feedback, recommendations throughout this open session. This is your time to be heard and shape the follow-on. ** Below are discussion topics for the upcoming event: - What's new in Transformation from a commercial perspective? After reviewing the current scope and ordering guide, do you have any recommendations for changes? Bid/No Bid rules TOPR response timelines On and off ramping Bid/No Bids Technical ratings Subcontracting restrictions TOPR evaluation criteria Pricing narratives SOO vs. PWSï¿½ We currently have 2 tiers; do you think this works or should there be more? What changes would you recommend to the tier definitions? What is the maximum number of contractors do you recommend per tier? Given the scope and magnitude of this requirement, does a Small Business have the experience required. If not what type of experience seems appropriate to allow a Small Business to prime. If this requirement is not set aside for a Small Business, do you have any recommendations for subcontracting goals/small business participation. What evaluation criteria do you recommend for the follow-on requirement?ï¿½ AFSTS awards approximately 50 task orders per year. Given the volume, does your company have the financial capacity to accommodate the projected workload? If not, would you plan for any teaming arrangements? If any SB were to become a prime, should the bid/no-bid limitations be the same as for the large businesses? Should the small business subcontracting and requirements be the same? If not, why not? If not, what would you recommend they be? Each interested company shall provide the names of the individuals attending to the POCs listed in this announcement.ï¿½ Failure to register will result in individuals to be turned away.ï¿½Each company is allowed a maximum of three (3) representatives.ï¿½ No exceptions. Joint Base Andrews requires a 100% ID check.ï¿½ If a visitor does not possessï¿½proper identificationï¿½(government issued CAC, dependent ID, Retired ID) for access to Joint Base Andrews, the visitor must comply with the action provided below. If you require access and you do not have a sponsor, please provide the following information below. Due to Personally Identifiable Information (PII) being provided, please password protect the visitors pass form and send a separate email with the password and send it to afdw.pkpks.afsts@us.af.mil. ï¿½Do not send the form to the VCC. The VCC will process the request and those properly vetted DO NOT need to go to the VCC for passes.ï¿½ Simply drive to the gate and show a valid ID.ï¿½ The gate guard will check for clearance and allow entry.ï¿½ Due to Personally Identifiable Information (PII) being provided, please password protect the visitors pass form (not the email) and send a separate email with the password. Only place individuals who are 18 years of age and older and do not hold any form of ID onto the Function List. List all guests in alphabetical order by last name, then first name, followed by their date of birth, and lastly, list their ID card and associated state and number in order to be vetted through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC). All visitors vetted through NCIC, must have a form of State or federally issued ID (Driverï¿½s license State ID car, Passport, etc).
