This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or an invitation for bid. The United States Air Force intends to issue a solicitation for a Total Small Business Set-Aside requirement for CE Base Operation Support (BOS) Services at MacDill AFB, Tampa, Florida Pre-Solicitation Notice for Solicitation number: FA4814-23-R-0001 A sources sought notice was posted to beta.SAM.gov on 5 June 2022 under Civil Engineering (CE) Base Operation Support (BOS) (Reference-Number-FA4814SS). A PWS and Appendices were posted to beta.SAM.gov on 9 Nov 2022 (Reference-Number-FA481422R0011) A single award contract will be resultant from the forthcoming solicitation. The NAICS Code is 561210, Facilities Support Services Competition Requirements: Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5) Procurement Method: Request for Proposal � Source Selection Process: Past Performance Price Tradeoff Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price (FFP) with Economic Price Adjustment (EPA) and T&M NTE CLINS The 6th Contracting Squadron intents on issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) F4814-23-R-0001 on or about 20 February 2023 for support of the 6 CES Base Operation Support services function at MacDill AFB, FL.� The scope of this contract is to provide services and items that would normally be provided by a civil engineering squadron as necessary for the proper function and operation of MacDill AFB.� This scope encompasses requirements specifically defined in the PWS and Appendices, and those that may otherwise be reasonably required to facilitate execution of the intent of this contract. This includes, but is not limited to: base operations support; engineering support; management, maintenance and repair of facilities and infrastructure systems; construction management; minor construction; emergency management and response; environmental requirements and programs; real property management; material procurement and management; Civil Engineer (CE) deployment training and management; exercise support; and the fulfillment of other responsibilities that may be or may become delegated to the 6 CES. A Pre-proposal site visit will be held within 2 weeks after the issuance of the RFP.� Be prepared to submit the names of up to three (3) individuals your company wish to send to this site visit within 3 days after issuance of the solicitation.� The government reserves the right to limit the amount of individuals per contractor based on availability of seats at the meeting location and bus seats. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about�20 February 2023 with proposals due at least 30 days after issuance or approximately�22 March 2023. All documents will be in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) and downloadable from the Beta.SAM website located at https://www.beta.sam.gov. A free Adobe Acrobat Reader, required to view PDF files, is available for download from the Adobe website. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the website. Only registered contractors will be notified by email when amendments to the solicitation are issued. There will be no paper copies of the solicitation distributed. All solicitation information will be obtained through the beta.SAM.gov website. Pre-Proposal conference/site visit information will be provided in the solicitation. No response to this notice is necessary. This notice does not obligate the Government to award contracts, and it does not obligate the Government to pay and/or reimburse respondents and/or their associates for any costs incurred to submit any requested information and/or proposal. Any questions, Requests for Information (RFIs), etc., relating to the upcoming solicitation must be submitted in writing to the individuals designated in the solicitation. Telephone requests for packages, questions, RFIs, etc. WILL NOT be accepted. **************A DRAFT RFP with four (4) Addendums and Past Performance Questionaires are hereby attached for preliminary review; the Government is requesting any final inputs from industry no later than 8 February 2023 by 1500 hrs Eastern Time*************** IMPORTANT NOTICE: �All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
