Description
THERE IS NO�SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.� REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This SOURCES SOUGHT is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Forest Service to identify potential sources and to determine if this effot can be offered competitive or to a specific socio-economic Small Business set aside category. This is NOT a request for proposal/quote or a guarantee that a contractual commitment will be completed for this requirement.� The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research.� Furthermore, the responses to this souces sought are voluntary and not reimbursable for any costs expended by the participants. The Special Project Operations Center (SPOC) - Intermountain is requesting information pusuant to FAR PART 10 in support of market research to identify potential sources for construction work.� The work consists of two parts and will repair damage done to fencing due to the Woods Creek Fire.� The first part consists of removing in its entirety the burned fences, reconstructing the fence in the existing location or as flagged on the ground for the re-route(s).� �Most of the fence is accessible with equipment.� The contractor is responsible for supplying all the necessary materials. The second part�of the work consists of repairing/heavy maintenance of existing fence sections identified by the Forest Service that were not completely damaged by the Woods Creek fire and are still maintainable.� Some of the sections are in areas inaccessible with equipment. The Forest Service will supply all the necessary materials for this second part.� The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this effort is 238990, which has a corresponding Size Standard of $16.5M. The Government is interested in small businesses to include: Small Business, Small Diadvantaged Businesses 8(a)s, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Hubzone Businesses, and Women Owned Small Businesses.�� The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice by completing the attached form in its entirety.� Additionally, provide any teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government or commercial customers within the last 3 years.� Any responses involving teaming arrangements should distinguish between what work was done by the prime and what work was accomplished by the teaming partners.
