Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE-SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole-source contract to Laborie Medical Technologies Corp. for a service maintenance agreement of two (2) Aquarius CT Urodynamic Devices for one (1) year (04/01/2023 to 03/31/2024) at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. The NAICS code is 811210. This requirement is to provide a service maintenance agreement for hardware and software components of two (2) Aquarius CT Urodynamic Devices at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Ave, Syracuse, NY 13210 from 04/01/2023 to 03/31/2024. Syracuse Equipment List (Laborie Medical Technologies Corp. Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)): Model SN EE # Aquarius CT NACT-18051483 279691 NACT-1-17121442 263439 Service maintenance agreement shall satisfy the standards of the OEM (Laborie Medical Technologies Corp.) and include inspection of hardware defects, replacement of any necessary OEM only parts, provide and troubleshoot new software deemed eligible by OEM, unlimited telephone support for technical assistance related to software, hardware, and how-to issues, and provide unlimited remote desktop support for the implementation of software modifications and general system maintenance by the OEM. The contractor shall also provide availability for emergency calls to be made Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm EST. Contractor shall respond to initial emergency phone calls within 48 hours. Laborie Medical Technologies Corp. is the only known authorized provider in the Syracuse, NY area for service maintenance agreements on Aquarius CT Urodynamic Devices. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by February 16th, 2023, at 12:00pm EST. Responses shall be submitted via email to Ryan.Brehm@va.gov. Telephone request or inquires will not be accepted.
