This Request For Quote (RFQ) SOURCES SOUGHT(SS) is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Solicitation, an Invitation for Bids, a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an indication the Government will contract for the items contained in this announcement. All information received in response to this RFQ SS marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFQ SS will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this RFQ SS are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. PURPOSE: The purpose of this RFQ SS is to conduct market research to find qualified vendors and to assist Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) in determining if a future contract effort can be competitively awarded on a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside basis. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this effort is 336999 with the Small Business Size Standard of 1000 employees. If the Government determines there are qualified vendors this requirement, a solicitation will be published and posted on the Contracting Opportunities website https://sam.gov/content/home. The Government will use this information solely to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for this procurement. INTRODUCTION: This requirement is for the purchase of Waev Inc. L22G2AEALA GEM e2 Low Speed Vehicle. The Hampton VAMC is planning to purchase GEM e2 Low Speed Vehicle to assist the Voluntary Services staff provide additional capabilities for the Hampton VAMC campus. The requirement is for GEM e2 Low Speed Vehicle (BRAND NAME OR EQUAL REQUIREMENT). Hampton voluntary services personnel require this vehicle to conduct various details in support of the medical staff, facility maintenance service and assist with other potential issues on campus.
