Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Marine Corps Field Contracting System, Marine Corps Installations East, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to D2 Government Solutions, Inc, 820 Aviation Drive, New Bern, North Carolina 28562, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.501(a) only one source reasonably available under Unusual and Compelling Urgency. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.� This requirement is a four (4) month contract from 8 March 2023 to 7 July 2023 to maintain continuity of contractor vetting and escort support to Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), New River, North Carolina.� This contract will bridge the gap between the existing contract that is scheduled to expire 7 March 2023, and a new competitively awarded follow-on contract. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement.� Responses must be received at the Contracting Office no later than 12:00 PM EST, 13 February 2023.
