Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) intends to award a limited source Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) delivery order with Government Scientific Source Inc. against contract�GS-07F-5934R for�laboratory equipment (Leica Bond RX IHC and ISH Slide Stainer Qty: 1). This notice is for a proposed action to include� incidental open market brand items on the FSS order: Leica P/N 9CON-SLVR-BONDRXM Bond RxM Silver Service, Qty: 1 EA and Leica P/N 819746 BOND RXm Installation Kit, Qty: 1 EA.See attached ""FAR 13 Single Source or Brand Name Justification Less Than SAT (open market items)"". For administrative convenience, an ordering activity contracting officer may add items not on the Federal Supply Schedule (also referred to as open market items) to a Federal Supply Schedule individual delivery task order in accordance with FAR 8.402. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responsible sources may submit a response which shall be considered by the agency. Responses must include clear and convincing evidence of the offeror�s capability of fulfilling the requirements as specified. Responses must be submitted by email to Lisa Draves at lisa.a.draves@usda.gov no later than the specified deadline. Telephonic inquiries will not be honored. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for the specified open market items. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.�
