Description

This is a Notice of Intent to sole source the following requirement. The Government intends to sole source this requirement to TERRA SONIC INTERNATIONAL, LLC.� Title of Requirement:��SONIC DRILL RIG REPAIR Description of Requirement: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District operates a Terrasonic TSi 150 CC Sonic Drill Rig. The sonic drill rig is utilized to conduct subsurface investigations on civil works and military construction projects throughout the country. This equipment is unique and highly specialized. The Government has a requirement for the required maintenance and repairs to the drill rig which are necessary to keep the equipment mission capable. In order for the Government to meet upcoming requirements in a timely manner, this action is necessary. This contract is only for the maintenance and repair of the specified equipment. No other work is required as part of this contract. The Government will support the proposed actions by written justification and obtain appropriate approval prior to proceeding. The Government will post the approved justification. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, however, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All capability statements received prior to the response date and time will be reviewed by the Government and considered. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this portion of the solicitation and resulting contract is based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
