Description
THIS IS AN INDUSTRY DAY INVITATION. PLEASE READ THE ANNOUNCEMENT IN ITS ENTIRETY. No solicitation document exists, a solicitation is not being prepared and there is no planned solicitation release date. This Industry Day is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Quote (RFQ), and does not require the Government to procure the services described at the Industry Day. INDUSTRY DAY: 23 February 2023 LOCATION: Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), 29 Palms, California (Building 1707). TRANSPORTATION: Transportation from Building 1707 to ranges will be provided. TIME: 0900 (First Brief) Recommend Early Arrival to clear PMO, expected end time 1700. Project Tripoli will serve as the cornerstone of how the Marine Corps builds combat readiness during this critical time of transformation. The proliferation of expeditionary long-range precision fires, loitering munitions, infantry battalion organic precision fires, unmanned systems, and electronic warfare capabilities, among others, will significantly challenge our ability to train collectively and build combat readiness. Project Tripoli, which addresses all aspects of the people, processes, and systems required to develop, implement, and sustain the LVC-TE. To enable initiatives like Project Tripoli, we have prioritized the modernization of training capabilities as one of the top three investments in support of Force Design 2030. Project Tripoli and the LVC-TE it creates will provide the means to conduct fully integrated training at all echelons, in all-domains, connected across disparate locations. In its fully mature state, the LVC-TE will create the system interoperability we need to fully integrate with joint and international LVC capabilities. The primary objective is to increase combat readiness at every echelon of command, while also allowing for experimentation with emerging concepts and technologies. 1. Program Manager Training Systems (PM TRASYS) and Training and Education Command (TECOM) will hold an Industry Day on 23 Feb 2023 for Industry to understand the Marine Corps total training needs. The Marine Corps is uniquely positioned for rapid multi-domain operations and requires the appropriate training capabilities. The Industry Day will be held at Twentynine Palms, CA. 2. The purpose of this Industry Day is to: 1) ensure that Industry understands the Marine Corps total training needs and 2) The Marine Corps is uniquely positioned for rapid Multi-Domain operations and requires the appropriate training capabilities. This will allow Industry to be better positioned to responded to training needs in the future. 3. PMTRASYS anticipates that a series of solicitations will be released over the next two years once requirements are finalized. PM TRASYS and TECOM would like for Industry to observe a Marine Littoral Regiment (MLR) training event so that they are better positioned in the future to respond. 4. Attendee limitation: Due to limited seating and parking, prospective offerors will be limited to three attendees per company.
