This contract provides EPA RTP and its remote sites with IT infrastructure operation serviceswithin the following areas: Data Telecommunications Support for the National Computer Center, EPA Page Road Facility, FirstEnvironment Early Learning Center (FEELC), Human Studies Facility in Chapel Hill, Security Fibertroubleshooting, Wireless Network Support, and Secure Access Facilities. Voice and Video Telecommunications including Neutral Host which encompasses the antenna system, carrier installations, campus distribution system, AC power supply and UPS (Uninterruptible PowerSupply) systems. Facility IT ensures that the building control systems are operational across the campus.Facility IT also executes system changes through the Configuration Control Board (CCB). Server Administration Support which includes Local Area Network to support Windows and Linuxbased servers. Services includes backup and restoration of data, management, administration, configuration, implementation, maintenance and sustainment of the physical servers, virtualservers, operating systems, storage area networks, active directory, and network security The incumbent Contractor provides the Information Technology (IT) services support for DataTelecommunications Support, Voice and Video Telecommunications, Facility IT and ServerAdministration Support. The current GSA contract, GS-35F-0567P, EPA Task Order 68HE0D18F0935, period of performance was extended for six (6) months from June 30, 2021 to December 31, 2021 via Far Clause 52.217-8Option to Extend Services. The contract was then extended for an additional two (2) months from January 1, 2022 to February 28, 2022 via FAR Clause 8.405-6(a)(1)(c)- Limiting Sources. The contract was then extended for an additional seven (7) months from March 1, 2022 to September 30, 2022 via FAR Clause 8.405-6(a)(1)(c)-Limiting Sources. The contract was then extended for an additional five (5) months from October 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023 via FAR Clause 8.405-6(a)(1)(c)-Limiting Sources. The Government intends to compete, negotiate, and award a follow-on contract for a one-year base period and two one-year option periods in accordance with the Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR). However, due to delays in the acquisition process, the contract for follow on services will not be awarded prior to the current expiration date of February 28, 2023 of GSA contract, GS-35F-0567P, EPA Task Order 68HE0D18F0935. There are no other contractors that have the capability of providing the level, breath, depth ofsupport, and continuity of services that are required by IRMD for Information Technology (IT)services support. This notice will be posted for 7 calendar days. The intent of this notice alerts the vendor community to the extension of GSA contract, GS-35F-0567P, EPA Task Order 68HE0D18F0935. This notification alerts all vendors to this action and todetermine if any other source (s) exist; and, therefore, no solicitation is available. Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract extension based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information receivedwill be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether competition is viable.Responses to this notice should be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Jeffery Clodfelter via thefollowing e-mail address (Clodfelter.Jeffery@epa.gov) within 7 calendar days from the date of this notice.
