- NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound is soliciting to make a single award of a firm fixed-price SERVICE- type contract for laboratory services to test for levels of heavy metals (lead, #2, #3) in paint sample removed from Navy vessels. Test reports will be due 1 week from receipt with an option for 24-hr testing. This will be a 100% small business set aside solicitation. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 15 February 2023. NAVSUP FLC Puget Sound intends to use a comparative evaluation in this procurement. This requirement is being procured using FAR Part 12 and 13.5 Procedures. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted on Sam.gov Website https://sam.gov/content/home. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or Faxed. Offerors must also be registered in the System for Awards Management (SAM) in order to participate in this procurement at http://www.sam.gov.
