Description

This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price to purchase Patient Tutoring Services, with Montgomery County Public Schools. ��� The Clinical Center requires to obtain instructional tutoring services for school age children, ages 5 through 18, who are participating in clinical research at the NIH Clinical Center, 10 Center Drive, Bethesda, MD 20892, and as a result, are hospitalized for prolonged periods of time and unable to attend their regular school program.� The NIH requires qualified professional instructional teachers to instruct the student patient population for standard grades:� kindergarten through 12th grade, English as a second other language (ESOL), and General Educational Development (GED) for pediatric behavioral and pediatric non-behavioral patients. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Comments to this announcement, referencing this posting number, may be submitted to the CC, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, prior to the closing date, February 15, 2023 at 12:00 PM EST specified in this announcement, electronically to the attention of Noelle DeCenzo, Contract Specialist, Noelle.decenzo@nih.gov by the due date and time marked in this notice.
