Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) Special Communications Missions� Solutions Division has a requirement to procure Flightcell International Ltd. (Flightcell) iridium satellite phones.� The Government intends to procure the above items on a sole source basis to Satcom Direct Government, Inc. (Satcom Direct) through a five year Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract.� Satcom Direct is the only authorized distributor for the required Flightcell iridium satellite phone. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
