- SOURCES SOUGHT Workplace Scenario Planning Disclaimer This announcement is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) and does not commit the Government to award a contract now or in the future.� No solicitation is available at this time. The purpose of this sources sought is to identify organizations with the requisite qualifications to provide the services stated herein. Based on capability statements received in response to this Sources Sought Announcement this acquisition may be solicited as a 100% small business set aside. �All small business organizations (SB SDB, WOSB, HUBZone, and VOSB and SDVOSB) are encouraged to respond to this notice. � Requirement The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for Workplace Scenario Planning services for the NIST main administrative building located in Gaithersburg, Maryland.� NIST is seeking to strategically redefine its approach to overall space programming for the top 11 floors of the Building 101 complex.� This planning study will evaluate the space needs and adjacencies of approximately 20 NIST Operating Units (OUs) totaling approximately 360 people and will develop space stacking and assignment plans for logical placement of these OUs within renovated tower spaces. �This study will provide basic information for a subsequent Program of Requirements effort that will be completed under a separate contract action. The specific purpose of this sources sought announcement is to determine if there are any small businesses, within the parameters identified above, that can provide the services identified below. Specific criteria being sought are: A. � The ability to develop a tailored digital assessment of all on and offsite employees based on job function, position, workstyle, and agency policy. �Data may be gathered via digital interviews, human resource data collection, and client project team interviews. B. � The ability to provide evidence-based reports and deliverables, and management support services that define space requirements, space policy, work environment, and optimal space assignments to support �Future of Workspace� requirements and policy guidelines. Requested Information Interested, capable service contractor (parties) shall submit a capability statement in response to this Sources Sought Notice, including, at a minimum, the following: (a) Technical discussion of Contractor ability to perform the type of services described above; (b) Name of Company-include a contact person's name, telephone number, and email address; (c) Company Address; Cage Code, DUNS number; (d) Business Type (please specify as either-Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, Woman Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a), Hubzone Small Business), or other based upon NAICS Code 541611, Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services; �(e) Describe project experiences and past performance with similar types of requirements of similar scope and magnitude per the criteria noted in above. Project experience shall include projects greater than $50,000 which were completed within the last 36 months. The total number of pages to reply to this source sought shall not exceed 10 pages. NOTE: All vendors need to be registered SAM www.sam.gov.� Capabilities Statements will only be accepted electronically via e-mail at laurie.morris@nist.gov. �Responses shall reference RFI Number: OFPM-TeamA-SS23-01 and are due on 02/27/2023 at 10:00 a.m. EST. Summary Once the results of this market research are obtained and analyzed for NIST's minimum requirements, NIST may solicit a competitive procurement and subsequently award a contract. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY to identify sources that can provide Workplace Scenario Planning for workplace space assignments. The services are focused on gathering data from various NIST Operating Units and developing a logical, comprehensive space assignment plan for personnel to be located in a renovated Building 101 administrative tower. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government.� NIST has not made a commitment to procure any of the services discussed, and release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought.� All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
