Description
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line (MECPL) is seeking qualified sources to show their interest for the inspect, overhaul, test, preserve, package, mark, barcode and delivery of finished large propulsion and rudder shafts and rudder blades/rudder assemblies and ready for installation on the following USCG Vessels: 210 Medium Endurance Cutters 270� Medium Endurance Cutters 282� Medium Endurance Cutter for Long Range Enforcer Product Line 225� Juniper Class Ocean Going Buoy Tenders - WLB 140� Bay Class Ice Breaking Tugs � WTGB 160� WLIC 65� WYTL 67/75� WLIC/WLR The NAICS code is 336611 and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. The USCG SFLC intends to overhaul various quantities of large propulsion and rudder shafts and rudder blades and rudder assemblies per year by issuing individually funded delivery orders. Also required will be the purchase of Shaft Blanks. Period of Performance: It is anticipated that multiple firm, fixed priced Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contracts will be awarded for one base year and four option years. Place of Performance: At prospective contractor facilities Please respond by e-mail to 23 February 2023, 12:00 pm (EST). Responses and any questions or information must be submitted in writing to Christina Ayers�via email at christina.l.ayers@uscg.mil and your response must include: (a) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor; (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact with telephone numbers; (c) past performance references including points of contact and telephone numbers. At least two references are requested. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline may be considered for this acquisition. Submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract as planned. The Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed. At this time, the USCG does NOT have an estimated timeframe for release of the solicitation and this is NOT a request for proposals. Solicitation documents will only be made available on www.fbo.gov; no paper solicitation packages will be made available.
