Description
The Weapons & Energetics Department (D550000) of the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA (NAWCWD-CL) intends to procure various types of machine tools, plant and laboratory equipment, work holding devices and peripheral equipment for conventional and computer numerically controlled equipment and services over a five-year period in support of its projects. The Energetics Enterprise will specify the applicable criteria for each requirement through the issuance of individual delivery orders. The contractor shall provide supporting documentation and certification verifying compliance with applicable specification requirements for each product ordered. The products procured herein, will be separately ordered and priced on each individual Delivery Order (DO) to include shipping & handling at the time each DO is placed. At a minimum, the following plant & laboratory equipment would be in scope of this requirement: thermometers, beakers, flasks, syringes, injection needles, test tubes, pipettes, Bunsen burner, graduated cylinders, droppers, wash bottles, screw cap, funnels, gaskets, bench scales, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, pressing equipment, mixers, oscilloscopes, compressors, air pumps, chillers, testing control rooms, vacuum pumps, band saws, nitrogen systems, and air dryers. At a minimum, for explosion-proof and computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment would be in scope of this requirement: explosion proof rotary tables, CNC mills, CNC lathes, scales, energetics x-ray equipment, laser cutting equipment and grinders. The contractor shall provide rapid-response maintenance, repair, training, calibration and installation services (excluding Construction as defined in FAR Subpart 2.101 and FAR Part 36) on a delivery order basis for items or product lines applicable to above. Additionally, annual maintenance service agreements may also be issued through individual delivery orders for recurring service needs. Products and services procured under this contract are considered time critical; therefore, timely delivery is paramount.� Exact delivery requirements will be specified in each individual order.� For service requirements, the contractor shall respond at the Government site within one week of delivery order issuance, unless otherwise specified in an individual delivery order. The contractor shall be responsible for delivery of all items. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893623R0016 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm�s experience, assets, background, and ability to manufacture and deliver the required products without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, or delivery schedule. The Government will consider all information in response to sources sought received via email to the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer by 01 March 2023 at 04:00 PM PST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received. No telephone responses will be accepted.
