- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.� �� The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is conducting market research to identify potential sources who are capable of providing a brand name or equal requirement of One (1) Thermo Fisher Scientific NanoDrop Eight Spectrophotometer per attached specifications. SPECIFICATIONS: Absorbance Accuracy 3% at 0.97 A, 302 nm, 23oC +/- 2oC Minimum Wavelength Range: 190 to 850 nm Wavelength accuracy: +/- 1 nm Measurement range: 8 samples in less than/equal to 20 sec Pedestal Sample loading: (not cuvette) Capable of ambidextrous pipetting with guide Sample Volume: 1.0 to 2.0 uL (with samples being recoverable) Sample Position illuminator Dimensions: 24 cm x 33 cm x 17 cm (10 inches x 13 inches x 7 inches) Automatic Measurements: auto blank and auto measure Sample concentration accuracy/software specific capable of the following: Must be able to identify contaminants including proteins, phenol, Guanidine HCL, mammalian RNA, Guanidine Isothiocyanate and Mammalian DNA. Corrected concentration calculations based on contaminants. Format files to include absorbance data, report data or both Universal file formats: exports in .txt and .csv Differentiate RNA from DNA Absorbance Range: 0.04 to 200 Abs (10 mm equivalent) Detection limits: 2.0 to 10,000 ng/uL dsDNA, 0.03 � 145 mg/mg IgG Voltage: 100/240 V Pathlength: 1.0 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.1 mm (automatically adjusting) Spectral resolution: less than/ equal to 1.8nM (FWHM at Hg 254 nm) Light source: Xenon flash lamp Detector: 2048-element CMOS linear image sensor No Request For Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ.
