- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 70Z02323I93230003 U.S. COAST GUARD IN-SERVICE VESSEL SUSTAINMENT - HEALY SERVICE LIFE EXTENSION PROJECT (SLEP) Respondents shall state whether their business is a Large or Small Business, and identify if the business is a: Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Zone Business, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), 8(a) Certified Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), and/or a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). CGC Healy Ship's Characteristics are listed in the PDF version of this Request for Information.� This response should also include: Unique Entity Identification (UEID) Number, � Commercial and Governmental Entity (CAGE) code Corporate Capability: The USCG is seeking information from companies that are interested in the HEALY SLEP effort.� Companies that believe they have the capability to perform the work required by the HEALY SLEP effort are requested to submit: A capability statement detailing the company�s dry-dock availabilities fiscal year 2025 through 2029 starting in December and ending in April. A description of facilities and a brief discussion of any previous similar experience to the complexity of this requirement. A description of your ability to provide pier space with sufficient water depth (at least two feet below the keel), free of turbidity, silt, debris, shoal water, and submerged hazards, for a period of 45 days for testing. A statement of ability to provide temporary messing & berthing for approximately 30 people. A statement of ability to provide warehousing and secure storage of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) as it relates to ship repair and maintenance. A description of your experiences providing detail design work related to specifications that are not fully complete. A description of your experience demonstrating your ability to partner with other Government entities (such as NAVSEA) and their contractors, while maintaining technical, schedule, and cost constraints of the contract. A description of your experience using a multi-year ship repair contracting. Include what worked well, what you would change, and how you would price the effort. A description of your experience working on ship propulsion distribution systems and machinery control systems. A description of your experience demonstrating your ability to supervise and support multiple ships simultaneously. A statement describing the biggest challenges your company would face in trying to perform this requirement.
