FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION NOTICE OF ITENT TO SOLE SOURCE VIRTUAL ACQUISTION OFFICE SUBSCRIPTION THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, AN INVITATION FOR BIDS, OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. FURTHER, IT DOES NOT REPRESENT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR COSTS INCURRED IN PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF DATA OR ANY OTHER COSTS INCURRED IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. This notice of intent to sole source is hereby issued and posted in accordance with FAR 5.201. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract, for the Virtual Acquisition Office (VAO) subscription under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(2), as only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services, will satisfy agency requirements. The sole source contract will be awarded to: Virtual Acquisition Office, LLC 21251 Ridgetop Circle, Suite 100 Dulles, VA 20166 The VAO Subscription Service is unique service. It is highly specialized to address the needs of the federal acquisition workforce. It features a newsletter, training, a knowledge database, and an information and research tool that are not matched by any other sources. While there are other vendors, which provide acquisition support services, only VAO provides this combination of services, quality, expertise, and experience necessary to support the government acquisition mission. VAO provides government acquisition solutions providing an extensive Virtual Acquisition Office which includes an extensive library of past acquisition questions and responses from other agencies, extensive online training courses, current news on acquisition laws and bills, an extensive library of Acquisition Samples and Templates, current acquisition file documentation process checklist, protest lessons learned, and multiple other services. The period of performance for this requirement will be twelve (12) months from the date of award beginning on May 15, 2023.
