- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.� The solicitation number is 12405B23Q0114 and solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).� This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-01. This is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS Code is�561730 � Landscaping Services.� The size standards is $8.5M. Seeking contractor to provide:� All material, personnel, equipment, tools, fuel, and other items or services necessary to perform the lawn care services for the USDA, ARS, SEA, Sugarcane Field Station, Canal Point, Florida location.� Quotations submitted must meet all specifications and performed in strict accordance as detailed in attached Statement of Work (SOW). Contract to cover base year + 4 option years. Base Year�������� (Mar 1, 2023 � Feb 29, 2024) Option Year 1 (Mar 1, 2024 � Feb 28, 2025) Option year 2 (Mar 1, 2025 � Feb 28, 2026) Option Year 3 (Mar 1, 2026 � Feb 28, 2027) Option Year 4 (Mar 1, 2027 � Feb 29, 2028)������������������������������������������������������������������������������ ������������������������������������� Project location:� USDA, ARS, SEA, Sugarcane Field Station, 12990 Hwy 441 North, Canal Point, Florida 33438. In order to be considered for award, all offerors shall submit: Signed and fully completed SF 18.� Submit SAM UEI# with quotation. Signed and fully completed solicitation Amendments (if applicable).� Firm Fixed Price quotation (quotation on company letterhead) detailing the item description, total price for base year + 4 option years.� Valid for at least 60 days after receipt of quotation.� Item delivered FOB Destination inclusive of all costs. Failure to provide the required information and required documents in the requested format may result in proposal not being considered for award. Contractors intending to conduct business with the Federal Government MUST register with the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submitting a quotation.� Registration is free and you may register online at www.sam.gov. A3.� No, Only hedges need to be trimmed.� Q4.� What is the approximate acreage of the proposed land to be maintained? A4.� 2 or about 87,120. Q5.� Is this a new opportunity�or is there a current contractor? If so can you please provide me with the current contractor�information? A5.� Not new, William V. Q6.� Would like to request the current monthly or annual amount you are paying for the lawn care now.� Also, the name of the company that has the contract now. A6.� $468.56/month.� William V. Shirley. Q7.� What exactly is needed for the tree trimming? We normally do tree trimming two times a year that we add as an extra. A7.� Do not need tree�trimming.
