- Description
- Objective: The objective of this Sources Sought is to identify potential subcontracting companies that are qualified and capable of meeting the project objectives. The project objective, at a high level, is to support NREL�s international programs and broader mission to develop renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies and practices, to advance related science and engineering, and to transfer knowledge and innovations to address energy and environmental goals. This effort also significantly contributes to meeting U.S. Department of Energy goals of responding to pressing global energy challenges, including long-term efforts to reduce carbon pollution and the impacts of climate change. NREL�s international programs occur in many different countries. The primary countries of focus currently include, but are not limited to Argentina, Bangladesh, Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Laos, Philippines, Vietnam, Pakistan, Mexico, Nigeria, South Africa, Thailand, Tunisia, Ukraine. Project Details: The Subcontractor shall assist in the co-ordination, funding, and logistical planning and management of international travel, activities, and events related to NREL�s international programs, to include workshops, training events, and other similar activities that support the performance of NREL�s international programs. Throughout the period of performance of the subcontract, NREL will direct the Subcontractor to facilitate each activity or event, including defining travel requirements and arranging logistics for each activity/event to be supported. The Subcontractor shall not be required to independently define the activities or events to be supported.
