- The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is pleased to announce it will hold a formal, virtual Industry Day on Thursday,�9 March 2023 from 1000 - 1530 Eastern Standard Time (EST) using the Microsoft Teams platform.� The purpose of this Industry Day is to obtain industry input and interest with potential offerors interested in partnering with the DHA for a potential Competitive Plans Demonstration (CPD) requirement. The CPD initiative evolved from, and tracks with, the requirement of section 705(c)(3) of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 to ensure local, regional, and national health plans have an opportunity to participate in the competition for managed care support contracts under the TRICARE program.� Section 705(c)(3) requirements are further amplified by section 703 of the NDAA for FY 2022, which authorizes DHA to �implement multiple networks in the same geographic area.� This virtual forum provides the opportunity for DHA personnel to brief industry on the CPD DRAFT Request For Proposal (RFP) requirements and other pertinent aspects of the program. A detailed agenda and presentation materials will be provided to each registrant prior to the virtual event after those interested parties complete the necessary pre-registration actions. Government led briefings will include the following categories:� Networks, Marketing, Enrollment, Customer Service/Adminstration, Medical Management/Quality Management, Pharmacy, Claims, Systems and Acquisition/Contract Structure.� Additional topics include:� Risk Adjusted Capitiation, EEE Systems Interfaces and Acquistion Timeline.� The Government does not anticipate conducting any �one-on-one� meetings with interested vendors. Registrants will be provided a�Microsoft Teams�link prior to the event for audio and visual access. All briefings and discussions will be conducted at the unclassified level. This Industry Day notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes, and all information provided is subject to change. It does not constitute a solicitation (Request for Proposal or Request for Quotations), or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This CPD Industry Day notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service, whatsoever. Furthermore, the Government is not, at this time, seeking proposals for any requirement discussed in CPD Industry Day materials. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this CPD Industry Day notice. The Government will not assume liability for incurred expenses. All costs associated with responding to this CPD Industry Day notice will be solely at the responding party's expense.
