Description
Introduction The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic is conducting a resilience survey, looking for transformative technologies that are for existing (as is) tactical communications and networks at sea, air, land, space, and cyber domains. Resiliency is defined as the ability to recover from or adjust easily to adversity or change. �It is the result of three key elements: route diversity, redundancy, and protective/restorative measures. �Communications resiliency means a network can withstand damages, thereby minimizing the likelihood of a service outage. This RFI requests information about any state of the art/novel products and technologies available to shape a collaborative strategy with commercial partners (companies, universities, startups, or others) to accelerate development and fielding of the most promising approaches on how to enable resiliency in NAVAL / USMC Communications and Networks. Background NAVAL and JOINT battlefield ��operations use today�s resilient Command, Control, and Communications (C3) in a distributed maritime operation (DMO) focused on cyber secure resilient communications & networks for use in contested environments.� Continuous capability of communications and networks during a degraded operation environment is quintessential to supporting war fighting.
