- Description
- This acquisition is proceeding as Full and Open Competition, Invitation for Bid (IFB). This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Z1KF, SIC CODE: 1629, NAICS Code: 237990. The size standard for this code is $37,000,000. All questions should be directed to the Contract Specialist, Joshua Kaimikaua: Joshua.J.Kaimikaua@usace.army.mil Estimated Cost Range is between more than $5,000,000 - $10,000,000 JOB DESCRIPTION: The work includes annual maintenance dredging of the Richmond Inner Harbor to -38ft (MLLW) plus 1-ft of paid over-depth and transporting of the dredged material per the requirements in specification Section 01 11 00 SUMMARY OF WORK. Material to be dredged from Reaches 1 through 10B can be disposed at a Contractor-furnished upland site. Reaches 1 through 8 is suitable as cover while Reach 9 and 10 is suitable as foundation. Dredged material from Reach 1 through 10B is also suitable for disposal at Government furnished ocean disposal site (SF-DODS). This requirement is full and open competition. It will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) which will result in the award of a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will be available on/about March 14, 2023 for viewing/downloading the solicitation and documents. ALL BIDS will be due on/about April 14, 2023 at 1:00 PM PDT. The specific date and time will be identified in the solicitation. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED, OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION, AND/OR FINAL AWARDPROCESS. Plans and specs will not be provided in hard copy or CD format. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on SAM.gov once the IFB is issued. Viewing/downloading documents from this site will require prior registration in SAM.gov. For further information, please click on the Sam.Gov homepage link, Vendor User Guide. The only plan holders/bidders list is available via Sam.Gov. In order to view or add to the list, you will need to be registered and sign into SAM.gov.
