Description
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.� REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.�� The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska is seeking sources to award a firm-fixed price procurement action for re-placement and upgrade of the 732AMS command post console system Unify Seimens HiPath HP4000 System to Unify OpenScape Voice.�� This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is pursuant to FAR PART 10 in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources to perform installation/upgrade maintenance support services and determine if this effort can be competitive. �This is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication that a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research.� No funds are available to fund the information solicited. The Government will use this information to determine the best future acquisition strategy for this procurement.� Program Information 732 AMS, Air Terminal Operations Center (ATOC) located at JBER, Alaska is in need of a system upgrade to an existing command and control communications system. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and any other necessary items and services necessary to accomplish the installation/upgrade to the current system.� This contract will include a one year warranty. The maintenance contract will cover the regular maintenance and repair of all 732 AMS, (ATOC) equipment.� The communications System must be operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Capabilities Description� HP4000 to Unify OpenScape Voice Upgrade System (see attached Salient Characteristics and Performance Work Statement) The contractor�s primary technical services shall be performed by individuals who are trained, qualified, and experienced in performing maintenance and repair of the 732 AMS, (ATOC) equipment, crisis management, dispatch consoles, and all associated Unify (formerly Siemens Enterprise Communications) telecommunications hardware and software that are installed throughout JBER.
