- This REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) is for market research and planning purposes only and shall not be an obligation by the Government to acquire any products or services. Responses to this RFI will be accepted via e-mail to the address listed below. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this Notice. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this evaluation. Capability statements will not be returned and will not be accepted after the due date. Submission of any information to this market research is purely voluntary.� DOC assumes no financial responsibility of any costs incurred by respondents. No proprietary, classified, confidential or sensitive information should be included in the response. This market research will identify capable businesses that can provide the requirement as identified in the Draft Statement of Work (SOW). North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 511210 Software Publishers. Interested firms must demonstrate in their capabilities statement that the are qualified to provide the services as stated in the SOW. Pursuant to 48 C.F.R. Part 10, the Government is conducting market research to: � Determine what sources exist that can satisfy the Government's requirements listed below � Determine the capabilities of potential contractors � Determine the size and status of potential sources � Determine the level of competition The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), is one of the world�s leading statistical agencies, collects source data, conducts research and analysis, develops and implements estimation methodologies and disseminates statistics to the public. BEA relies heavily on data, in particular its GDP data to compile press releases, publications, interactive tables and to convert general economic analysis of the US economy. BEA stakeholders, customers and US policy makers use multiple reporting tools when analyzing BEA�s data outputs.�� Attachment(s): RFI Instructions and DRAFT SOW
