Description

The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) develops an integrated Missile Defense System, integrating land, sea, air, and space-based assets to defend the United States, deployed forces, NATO Allies and Partners from missile attacks. �As the integrating element, Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) is at the core of the Missile Defense System. �As a subsystem of C2BMC, the CODDS provides the Combatant Commander with a Missile Defense System capability to collaboratively plan, coordinate, assess, optimize, and integrate High-Demand / Low-Density missile defense resources to defend the United States, US deployed forces, US allies, and friends against all ranges of missiles in all phases of flight.� The CODDS delivers the capability to perform pre-mission analysis to determine optimized asset pairings for efficient and effective missile defense, and it initializes operational C2BMC suites with validated Defense Design Data and supports Force Level planning processes.
