Description

This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price to purchase Milli-Q� IQ 7010 water purification system, with EMD Millipore Corporation. ��� The NIH PET Department prepares multiple PET Drug products for the NIH clinic each day.� Ultrapure water (classified as purified water in bulk by US Pharmacopeia) is needed by the PET department in preparation and analysis of PET drug products.� Namely, Ultrapure water is used as a reagent/cleaning solution for many automated syntheses of PET radiopharmaceuticals.� Moreover, ultrapure water is utilized for HPLC purification and Quality control (QC) analysis of PET drugs.� Ultrapure water is needed both in the cGMP production laboratory (B3-66320) as well as the nearby analytical QC laboratory (B3-5630).� The NIH Clinical Center requires a replacement of Millipore Milli-Q IQ 7010 Water Purification System.� This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Comments to this announcement, referencing this posting number, may be submitted to the CC, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, prior to the closing date, March 07, 2023 at 12:00 PM EST specified in this announcement, electronically to the attention of Noelle DeCenzo, Contract Specialist, Noelle.decenzo@nih.gov by the due date and time marked in this notice.
