Description
See PDF Attached. Tasks: 1. The Contractor shall pick up soiled items and drop-off cleaned items from/to the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC), 9200 Amber Drive, Ft. Detrick, MD 21702. Pick-up/Drop-off days of week to be determined. 2. Laundered items shall be returned within 5 business days of pick-up. The drop-off and pick-up days are included in the return timeframe. (For example: If soiled items are picked up at noon on Tuesday; then, laundered items shall be returned on Friday.) 3. The Contractor shall thoroughly clean items to industry and health standards, inventory and properly package items for delivery. 4. The Contractor shall notify, via email or phone, the COR or selected POC when items are ready for pick-up at the LRC. 5. The contractor shall provide and inventory sheet identifying packaged items and well as indicated poundage. 6. When a federal holiday falls on a pick-up/delivery day the Contractor shall pick-up or deliver laundry on the next business day. 7. In the event that weather or other bona fide emergency conditions prevent performance of scheduled pickups or deliveries, the COR will provide a revised schedule as soon as practical. The contractor shall perform to the revised schedule, upon notification, to the same standard as the normal schedule. 8. The Contractor is responsible for total management during the performance of this contract. The administration of the contract requires maximum coordination and cooperation between the Government and the Contractor. 9. The Contractor is required to provide personnel that are properly licensed to operate the vehicles used in the pick-up and delivery of items outlined in this contract and to obey all rules and regulations regarding entrance and conduct on Ft. Detrick.
