- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Research and Development Center (ERDC), Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) single source award to BRIDGE DIAGNOSTICS, INC., 740 s Pierce Ave, Unt 15, Louisville, Colorado, 80027-3057 for Sensors for Bridge Load Testing. The sensors, the ST350 Strain Transducer, has been designed to measure strain quickly and accurately on a variety of structures in harsh field environments. This 350? full Wheatstone bridge strain transducer is very accurate, rugged, and waterproof.Bride Diagnostic, Inc. (BDI) is the only manufacture that can provide the required sensors. This is due to compatibility with previous sensors. To be able to keep using the sensors and previous FEM models, the same sensors are needed to extend the instrumentation capability during the bridge load testing. The award will be issued in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i). The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code is 334513 (Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables) with a size standard of 750 employees.
