All other terms and conditions have remained the same. DESIGN BUILD CONSTRUCTION MULTIPLE AWARD TASK ORDER CONTRACTS (MATOC) THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This announcement is seeking information from industry which will be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this sources sought, and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. COMPETITION AND SET-ASIDE DECISIONS WILL BE MADE BASED ON THE RESULTS OF THIS MARKET RESEARCH AND THE FEEDBACK FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. After review of the responses to this announcement and if the Government plans to proceed with an acquisition, a solicitation will be published to sam.gov. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. There is no bid package or solicitation at this time. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. PLEASE NOTE - This sources sought notice is posted with the Rock Island District and the Vicksburg District to ensure widest dissemination. �Offerors only need to respond to one of the notices for consideration.� Please indicate on the questionnaire the desired location of your preferred work. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers� civil works mission is varied and wide-ranging. Its multi-purpose projects provide benefits for navigation, flood risk management, hydropower production, fish and wildlife, environmental stewardship, recreation, irrigation and municipal water supply. MVD has been allocated Disaster Relief Supplement Appropriations Act of 2022 (DRSAA 2022) funds and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) (formerly known as Infrastructure Investment and Job Act (IIJA) funds. In order to achieve the execution of these funds and completion of projects, MVD anticipates soliciting for Firm Fixed Price Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC) for design build construction projects within the Mississippi Valley Division (MVD) under primary NAICS Code 237990, other Heavy and Civil Construction. The total estimated construction costs over the five (5) year contract period will approximately be between $250 - $500 million. It is anticipated that multiple contracts will be awarded. The Mississippi Valley Division (MVD) consists of six districts that run the length of the Mississippi River, including: St. Paul District, Rock Island District, St. Louis District, Memphis District, Vicksburg District, and New Orleans District. The MATOC may possibly be grouped into upper and lower regions of the Mississippi Valley Division but organization of contract pools will depend on market research results. Scope of work: The type of projects anticipated to be completed under the resulting contracts include construction or repair of marine structure, dredge material placement areas, flood control structures, levees, channels, erosion protection, hydraulic gates, retaining walls, drainage improvements, pump stations, roads, bridges, building renovation and repair, and other related infrastructure. Period of Performance: The Period of Performance for the proposed contract includes: one base year plus four one-year ordering periods, with an anticipated award early 2024. Bonding Requirements Performance and payment bonds are required for any construction contract exceeding $150,000.� Provide bonding capacity in attached questionnaire. Insurance Firms will be expected to provide and maintain, during the entire performance of the contract, at least the kinds and minimum amounts of insurance required for work on a Government Installation, in accordance with FAR Clause 52.228-5. The minimum amounts, as specified in FAR subpart 28.306, are as follows: Workers Compensation and Employer's Liability ($100,000); General Liability ($500,000 per occurrence /$50,000 per occurrence for property damage); Automobile Liability ($200,000 per person / $500,000 per occurrence for bodily injury / $20,000 per occurrence for property damage). System for Award Management: All contractor�s doing business now or in the immediate future with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is sam.gov. All contractor�s interested in obtaining a copy of the anticipated future solicitation must be registered in the Government Point of Entry (GPE), www.sam.gov. Responses to Sources Sought: INTERESTED SOURCES ARE INVITED TO IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND PRELIMIARY CAPABILITY BY RESPONDING TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IN WRITING BY COMPLETING THE ATTACHED QUESTIONNAIRE.
