- Description
- Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) � ISU Container Repair and Maintenance Support Services. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance and the Size Standard is $11.0 The Government is contemplating a sole source award to AAR Manufacturing, Inc (CAGE: 80298), under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-106-1(b)(1)(i) and FAR 13.5. Proposed contract action will be a firm fixed price, sole source Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract under solicitation H9224023Q0008. NSWC requires support services in order to maintain and repair damaged ISU Containers and return them to air certified condition, enabling them to be used for deployments worldwide IAW all Defense Transportation System, DoD Interface Standards, Air Transportability Test Loading Activity, and Air Force Instructions. Any responses to this SPECIAL NOTICE as it relates to any sources sought should reference �ISU Container Repair� and shall include the following information: Company name, address, POC name, phone number, and email Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE Code) Business Size under NAICS 811310 Previous similar contracts with matching ISU/AAR Manufacturing ISU Containers. If applicable, please include contract numbers and dollar values. Verification for ability to order entirety of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts associated with ISU/AAR Manufacturing ISU Containers. Understanding of Regulatory Instructions and Guidance associated with: Defense Transportation System (DTS) Chapter 604 - Intermodal Container Inspection, Reinspection, Maintenance, and Repair DoD Interface Standard MIL-STD-1791 � Designing for Internal Aerial Delivery and Fixed Wing Aircraft Air Transportability Test Loading Activity (ATTLA) requirements of OEM built components. Air Force Instruction (AFI) 24-605v2/v5 � Air Transport Operations and Air Transportation Standardization and Resources Any other pertinent information that would make the responding company qualified for this effort. Submissions are not to exceed two (2) standard typewritten pages. All technical questions and inquires may be submitted with the response. Responses shall be submitted electronically to john.gibbs@socom.mil by 09 March 2023. Again, this is not a request for proposal. Respondents will not be notified of the results.
