Description
This acquisition is to obtain a firm fixed price requirements contract for the purpose of repairing and overhauling Noun: Aircraft Mount Winch (External Rescue Hoist), NSN 1680-01-399-1284GC, Part Number: BL27100-185, and repairing Noun: Control Box Assembly, NSN 1680-01-411-0562GC, Part Number: EC-10000-70, which are applicable to the HH-60G Helicopter. The requirements contract will have a basic performance period of 1 (one) year plus ordering periods covering an additional 4 (four) years. The Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for both NSNs will be the same for each year of the basic period and ordering periods. The BEQs for the External Rescue Hoist are as follows: Minor Repair-21 each; Major Repair-7 each; Overhaul-1 each; and No Fault Found (NFF)/Beyond Economic Repair (BER)-1 each. The BEQ for the Control Box Assembly is 6 each for repair and 5 each for NFF/BER. Destination: Robins AFB, GA. Routine Delivery: For the Rescue Hoist, 45 days after receipt of order or reparable, whichever is later. For the Control Box Assembly, 65 days after receipt of order or reparable, whichever is later. SURGE and MICAP delivery orders shall take precedence over routine repair, and the delivery schedule shall be adjusted accordingly based on concurrence between the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO), Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO) and the contractor. Hoist NSN1680-01-399-1284: The hoist is mounted externally and above the cabin on the right side of the aircraft. The hoist consists of modular components, is hydraulically driven and electronically controlled to provide maximum lift capacities of 600 pounds. Control Box NSN 1680-01-411-0562: The rescue hoist can be controlled through the Cabin Rescue Hoist Control Panel. Provides backup control in case of failure of the normal up-down control switches.
