Description

The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department Groton Office, Groton, CT intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price Sole Source annual service Purchase Order to Hunter Associates Laboratory, Inc. for Preventive Maintenance and Calibration Services for (2) Government Owned Ultra Scan PRO Benchtop Spectrophotometers (USP2036) and (USP2446). This annual service contract requires a Base Year, plus (4) Years and (1) Six Month Option periods. The period of performance is from 01 April 2023 to 30 September 2028. This purchase will be procured utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13 and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 08 March 2023. Per U.S. Small Business Administration SBA Table of Size Standards that went into effect 12/19/2022, the size standard for NAICS 811210 is 34 (millions of dollars). Updates to the Navy Procurement System (PD2) reflect an expired size standard for NAICS 811210 at 30 (millions of dollars). This applicable SBA size standard for this requirement is NAICS 811210 at 34 (millions of dollars). The most current U.S. Small Business Administration SBA Table of Size Standards is available at: https://www.sba.gov/document/support-table-size-standards This notice is not a request for proposals or quotations. However, any challenges to this sole source must be received in writing and sent to sharon.j.dexter.civ@us.navy.mil to be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete this requirement. Challenges must include information sufficient to enable the Government to make a determination that an equivalent supply/service exists that would meet the Governments needs stated herein. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
