Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 2 is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources providing Diesel Generators Services at The James J. Peters VA Medical Center, 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468-3904. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811310. The VA requires a 12-month base year plus four 12 months option contract for preventive maintenance, inspections, Emergency Repairs and parts for the following generators: Contractor will furnish all Labor, Parts, Materials, Supervision, Equipment, Supplies and tools necessary to fully maintain and repair the following generators: 1) Mobile Generator outside Bldg. 100 and 105 · Kohler Power Systems Model No. 500REOZT Serial no. 500REOZT14014319 2) Building 100, EMD Standby Generator Set ( Main Generators ) Manufacturer, Electro Motive Division (GM) · Model No.16-645-E4 Serial No. 76H1-1022 · Model No.16-645-E4 Serial No. 76G1-1013 3) Standby Emergency Generator for building 100 ( Life Support ) · Cummins Model No. NT855GS2 Serial No.30113950 4) Standby Emergency Generator for building 106 ( Nursing Home ) · Cummins Model No. KTA19GS2 Serial No.311321 5) Facility Emergency Generators located on Facility Grounds outside Bldg. 100 and 101. · #1 Generac Model # 11897220100 Serial No. 2108384 · #2 Generac Model # 11897220100 Serial No. 2108823 · #3 Generac Model # 11897220100 Serial No. 2108383 · #4 Generac Model # 11897220100 Serial No. 2108822 · #5 Generac Model # 11897220100 Serial No. 2108821 or 2108824 Please see attached Statement of Work (SOW) If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: Organization name, SAM Unique Entity ID (UEI) , address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and socioeconomic status of the organization. Small business: clarify if your firm the limitations on subcontracting in accordance with Clause 52.219-14 and if your firm is considered a small business under NAICS 811310, Size standard $11.0M. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) must be verified at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov and clarify if your firm (VOSB /SDVOSB) meets the limitations on subcontracting in accordance with VAAR Clause 852.219-74. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. The Government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to: provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. 2) secure and apply the full range of corporate financial, human capital, and technical resources required to successfully perform similar requirements. 3) implement a successful project management plan that includes compliance; cost containment; meeting and tracking performance and risk mitigation. 4) provide services under a performance-based service acquisition contract. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION.
