Description

The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to Lumen Technologies�for a Renewal of an existing dedicated circuit. All communication�regarding this posting shall be in writing and be received by the archive�date of this notice. Point of contact is Gary Milton, email�gary.milton@dea.gov. The proposed purchase order is for a�renewal of an existing dedicated circuit for which the Government�intends to solicit and negotiate only with Lumen Technologies. In�accordance with Competition in Contracting Act 41 USC 253(c)(1), as�implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is�authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other�supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Justification for�the determination is attached. The following FAR Part 12.r provisions�and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.12-4 (Feb 2007)�Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5 (Apr�2008) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or�Executive Orders-Commercial Items. The full text provisions and clauses�may be accessed electronically at this internet address ��www.acqusition.gov/fas. The Government anticipates the award of a firm�fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to�open the requirement to competition based on the response to this�notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of�intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation�(RFQ) is not available. Any source capable of providing the supplies and�is interested in submitting a capabilities statement may do so�electronically to gary.milton@dea.gov.�
