Description
Warfighter Health, Performance and Evacuation Project Management Office (WHPE PMO) of the US Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA) has a requirement to purchase a 3D Printer with Support Cleaning Station and additional services as described below: Task 1: �Contractor will provide a 3D Printer that meets the minimum essential characteristics listed below: Option 1: 3D Printer must use fused deposition modeling (FDM) process/technology Minimum 3D print envelope: 16� x 14� x 16� Printer must print thermoplastic materials and support material as required Printer must be compatible with the following model materials: ABS-M30 (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) ABS-M30i (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene � ISO certified) ABS-ESD7 (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene - Electro Static Discharge) ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) Antero 800NA Nylon 12 Nylon 12CF PC-ABS (Polycarbonate � Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) PC-ISO (Polycarbonate � ISO Certified) PC (Polycarbonate) ST-130 (Sacrificial Tooling) ULTEM 9085 ULTEM 1010 Printer must be compatible with any support material required for the above model materials Printer will have the ability to run third party materials from approved suppliers PPSF Accuracy: +/- 0.005 in. or 0.015�/in. whichever is greater Minimum of four layer thickness options with the smallest equal to or less than 0.005� Minimum 1 year warranty System must be capable of holding two model material canisters (min. 90 in.3 ea.) and two support material canisters (min. 90 in.3 ea.) at one time and capable of automatic switchover or equivalent. System must have soluble support material so that functional parts can be produced in a single build and the supports dissolved On-site installation and setup Associated software required to fully manage/operate 3D printer system from computer aided design (CAD) files. Printer software capable controlling build parameters i.e., nozzle temperature, material flow, raster angle, layer road width, part orientation model and support material swapping, support material deleting No special ventilation (facility) requirements Physical 3D printer size: able to fit through a 36� x 80� door opening Fully enclosed cabinet Fully functional complete 3D system able to produce precision thermoplastic parts from computer aided design (CAD) files Network compatible: 10/100 base T connection. Ethernet protocol Power Requirements: 208VAC (3 phase), 50/60 Hz, 18A The 3D printer system should come with an operation and maintenance manual, all necessary software, accessories, and a parts list of all supplies/items that accompany the system. Task 2: Contractor will remove existing equipment located at Fort Detrick, MD Task 3: Contractor will setup / install new equipment at Fort Detrick. Task 4: Contractor will complete diagnostic and performance verification that the equipment is in proper working order during setup. Task 5: Contract shall include (3) 12-month options for annual maintenance warranties. Please review attachment, ""RFI_3DPrinter_Final"" for more information.
