Description

The Yakama Indian Health Clinic, Yakama Service Unit, in Toppenish, Washington, intends to award a non-competitive, sole source contract for a Zeiss HFA3 Visual Field Analyzer for the Optometry Department.� This acquisition is being conducted pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Limiting Sources,�Only one source is capable of providing the�supplies�or services required at the level of quality required because the�supplies�or services are unique or highly specialized. The contractor PROAIM Americas, LLC dba PROAIM Medical, is the sole company uniquely authorized to provide Zeiss products or supplies as a GSA Contractor.� Zeiss Products provides the capability to meet the fullest spectrum of the� Yakama Indian Health Clinic requirements.� This offers the ability to continue to meet Medical Home requirements and the best available direct patient care services to those presenting at the Yakama Indian Health Clinic Optometry Department. This is not a request for competitive proposals, it is primarily a notice of intent to award a sole source contract. There will be no request for competitive quotes available. Any submission to this notice must provide compelling evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. The contract will be granted without further notice if no affirmative written response is received, by no later than 12:00PM, Pacific Standard Time on March 14, 2023. The Government has sole discretion in determining whether or not to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice. The information you provide will be used soley to determine whether or not a non-competitive procurement will be conducted in the future.
