- VA Western New York Healthcare System (VAWNYHCS) has a need for a certified Diagnostic Medical Physicist to provide equipment inspection, testing, repair, and reporting services in support of the Buffalo and Batavia VA radiation safety programs. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, travel and personnel to provide these services. This requirement is being solicited as 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 541690 - Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services with the Small Business Size Standard of $16.5 million. Contractors are required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM prior to contract award. This will be a single award, firm-fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) for a one year base and four (4) one-year option periods. The places of performance include: VA Western NY Healthcare System Buffalo 3485 Bailey Ave Buffalo, NY 14215 VA Western NY Healthcare System Batavia 222 Richmond Avenue Batavia, NY 14020 Request for Quote (RFQ) 36C242-23-Q-0254 will be available for download from this website on or about March 20, 2023. No hardcopies will be sent out. Questions must be submitted in writing via email to the Contract Specialist at Cheryl.Whitton@va.gov and must be received a minimum of five (5) business days before the closing date listed in the RFQ. If warranted, responses to inquiries will be incorporated into a written amendment posted to Contract Opportunities website at http://www.sam.gov. Verbal questions will not be addressed.
