Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C25222B0017 Project: Reconstruct East Side Drainage Canal Project Number: 695-20-102 Location: Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI The Contractor shall provide for and furnish all labor, materials, equipment, qualified supervision, and other items designated in this contract in accordance with the Contract Drawings and Specifications to complete the construction of above-named project at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, 5000 West National Avenue Milwaukee, WI. This project includes: Demolition and removal of existing infrastructure Perform earthwork Erosion control Grading Landscaping Build and install new concrete and infrastructure Fencing Canal and wingwall/headwall The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center has a requirement to Reconstruct the East Side Drainage Canal, Project 695-20-102 on the campus of the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. The work involves, but is not limited to, infection control, all labor, materials, equipment, qualified supervision, and other items designated in this contract to complete Project # 695-20-102: Reconstruct the East Side Drainage Canal to reconstruct and repair the east side drainage canal along the east side of campus which is currently collapsing. Erosion along the canal will be repaired along with reinstalling of fencing along the edge of the canal. Several concrete sections have eroded into the canal and will be replaced to reline the canal and allow for proper drainage. The project magnitude price range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 237990 with a size standard $45.0 million applies. The project is scheduled to have a period of performance of four hundred twenty-five (425) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) will be posted to Beta Sam (https://www.beta.sam.gov) on or about April 20, 2023. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for June 23, 2023. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through shall be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation will be issued as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bid, the bidder must represent that it is a SDVOSB concern, a small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to the acquisition, and is CVE verified for eligibility in the VIP database.
