**THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.** Notice of Intent�to Award to Sole Source� Contract Opportunity Type: Sole Source Solicitation #:�2031ZA23N00009 Title: Preventive Maintenance and Calibration of X-Rite Exact Spectrophotometers The Government intends to make an award to: X-Rite, Inc. of Grand Rapids, MI THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award a sole source contract utilizing �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements��IAW FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). � The BEP uses manufacture Federal Reserve Notes and other security products for the United States. These X-Rite Exact Spectrophotometers are designed with advanced counterfeit deterrence features to ensure product integrity and manufactured to specifications and in quantities as ordered by its customers, primarily the Federal Reserve Bank system (FRB). These X-Rite Spectrophotometers will be used for testing inks used in the process of producing currency. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform preventive maintenance and calibration these �Spectrophotometers. Anticipated Period of Performance: 1 Base Year + 4 Option Years This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� The solicitation will not be posted. To be considered, responses MUST be received�NO LATER THAN 9:00 AM EST, March 29, 2023.�Additionally, interested sources must be registered and currently active in the System for Award Management (SAM), found at https://www.sam.gov.
